Collage This is great fun!. Here you can snip, snap, snitter images and paste them where you want them to go!. It's visual free association. With all the graphic computer programmes at large in the world; nothing can beat a pair of scissors, a pile of magazines and a tin of Cow Gum. I have unearthed a load of stuff from the 1980's that I thought might as well go on display here. I had fun doing them, so I thought it would be a great idea to share them... As for giving the collages titles, this came about as a result of my first visit to Paris in 1989, I was really impressed with the names of the Metro stations, and thought "Great!, these will provide titles for my some of my collages". It came about by free association because "collage" is a French word, hence French titles. To start with, here are some examples. When I think about naming things, we have to look at Dada in the early 20th Century, "this is not an iron". In 1944, the D-Day invasion of France named certain beaches Utah, Omaha etc. I don't know the French names for said beaches but the military code names still remain in my mind. When you think about it, there is no beach in Utah or Omaha!.
