The Travels: I have been to quite a few places, I take my camera virtually everywhere I go

Amsterdam
. Although geographically smaller than most cities in Europe, it is big on everything it has to offer. Visually stunning, culturally vibrant and a very human place.

Architecture:
When visiting a place, the buildings are usually the first make an impact. They provide a backdrop to activity and people. I have an interest in buildings and their interiors. The buildings and constructions that I have selected are of particular interest to me in that I find them quite unusual.

Architecture Two
Same as above, needed another page.

Black and White:
I like black and white photography. Needs some imagination and skill to produce a good shot. Here is my selection.

Greece:
Great country to photograph. I think it is the quality of sunlight; extremely bright.

Leicestershire
: A great county with some really spectacular landscapes. Great for walks in the countryside.

London:
I am trying to get off the beaten track here. It's a city that gets an awful lot of hype!. London Two:

Mexico:
A fantastic country. It is varied in terrain, from leafy and lush rain forests to arid deserts. A really colourful place, a complete visual fiesta.

Pub:
I took my camera in this pub on several occasions. I had fun snapping away. Nice thing was that the participants were really nice about it.

France and Paris:
Great Country with a great vibe. I have to say it, although a bottle of really good french vino is rather costly they are the best wine makers. I really love France. Best thing is not only do they have a great sense of pride; but it is a country with a rough and ready as well as sophisticated attitude. Completely brilliant. The golden rule is to take France as you find it!.

Spain:
Great country for backpacking holidays. Get yourself an unlimited tourist travel card, this means you can crash on the train if you can't find a place to stay. Fantastic and visually stunning place.

Collage
An exhibition of collages that I made in the 1980's. I had great fun making them.

Antoni Gaudi:
Brilliant architect and visionary.

Here are some useful related links; it is ever growing. The page covers many topics such as photography, travel, movies, museums and newspapers.
|
Web Rings:
A very useful way of surfing the www, they are specific to given topics, so it cuts out having to sift reams and reams of search results.

Related Directories:
The directories here are, on the whole related to travel and photography. They are here because I have found them extremely useful and I am fulfilling a commitment of providing a reciprocal link. I think that this is a wonderful aspect of the Internet and I would strongly recommend a visit to this page to help us to preserve the reciprocity of the net. "I am a camera"
said
Christopher Isherwood in Goodbye to Berlin; indeed, we all are. Christopher Isherwood
vividly recorded his images in his writing. No mean feat, when you consider the
cinematic scope that his writing gives to the reader's imagination. Even so, photography
requires imagination to produce a really good image. There was a time when I became a keen
amateur photographer and took my camera everywhere I went. This is a major ingredient to
good photography, as you would never know what you may stumble upon.

I do not take many photographs at the
moment. It is something that has fallen by the wayside. The main reason for this is that I
must have several shoeboxes crammed with photos. Roll on digital photography and the money
when I can afford a digital camera.
The photographs on this web site go
back to the late 1980's, the topics cover a wide range of themes, the main one of which is
travel, it broadens the mind!.
Come, and trip it, as you go;

Whilst the traditional approach to
photography can produce good photographs; I like to be a bit audacious and in taking many
photographs, I have been influenced by modern art, this will become apparent on the tour.
Why not correspond, exchange ideas and have

C'est moi aged 18, I
was studying Art at the time. My college friend was studying photography and
took this really neat shot of me. I wish I studied photography!, but there you
go.

So much for my art classes!
